Our Story

Bruce Klassen was born and raised on a farm in Linden, Alberta. In 2000 he started building calf shelters with his brothers in the winter. In 2004 he married a girl from Dewberry and moved there two years later, in hopes that with cheaper land prices it would be possible to raise a family on a small farm.

Bruce continued building some cattle equipment each winter and custom fencing in the summers. In 2008 a shop was rented to weld in and by 2010 a shop was put up on the farm. Purebred Charolais, commercial cattle, sheep, chickens, and pigs have all been raised on the farm around the welding shop.

The first products were mainly calf shelters and wind fences, but as time went on customers requested many different products, and the team here at Klassen Industries Ltd. has always enjoyed the challenge. Many friends have been made as the different projects have been completed.

The last few years have brought some challenges. Covid, supply issues, employees leaving for the oil patch, etc. Through it all Klassen Industries Ltd. is still working to provide you with a quality product.
